Why was Millard Fillmore famous?
Millard Fillmore was famous as the thirteenth President of the United States of America and for his approval of the Compromise of 1850, which allowed slavery in the South. This law failed as neither the North nor the South was happy with it. The next US President was Franklin Pierce.
